The Village

Montlaur is a pretty, charming village of about 600 people. It boasts a 17th century church and a magnificent municipal building with an avenue of plane trees passing through the village. It's a great place to experience French village life and I'm sure the locals will make you feel very welcome.

Location

Situated in a beautiful valley, surrounded by vineyards, cypress trees, in the lower foothills of the Pyrenees, Corbieres, south-west France.
  • 20 minutes from Carcassonne (airport serviced by EasyJet from Stanstead, London, RyanAir from Dublin)
  • 25 minutes from Narbonne
  • 70 minutes from Toulouse
  • 2.5 hours from Barcelona (an air arrival/departure option)
